Brand New WEBSITE!!

Yep, the day is finally here – after a year of having only a bloggy thing, and trying to make it look professional, we finally have a proper grown-up WEBSITE! (and a blog – don’t worry, we’re keeping that too!).

YAY!

Part of the reason for the big change is my new love of Boudoir photography, and having a new website has given me the chance to have a beautiful Portraits site, and also a new sexy Boudoir site too 🙂 Also with the new website is an upgraded Clients viewing area (with music!), and also my faithful little BLOG (this page!) where you can read all about recent sessions, and see beautiful updated images. Better yet, subscribe to my Blog and you’ll see new sessions as I post them, hot off the press 🙂

So, if you haven’t checked it out, here’s what you’re missing…. Choose to enter either the Portraits page, or the separate Boudoir page. (And at any time, it’s easy to come back and switch sites).

Home page for PORTRAITS…

And home page for BOUDOIR…

Of course, I’d love for you to visit and check it out for yourself. View the Galleries, read about Session Information and Pricing, and use the Contact tab to send me an email, and we’ll have a chat.

I hope you love it as much as I do. xx

Little Superheroes at Dusk // Outdoor Family Photography, Brisbane & Sunshine Coast

A few months back I started searching for the perfect location for this beautiful family’s portrait session. Our location had to be around the Sunshine Coast, but not at the beach. I started driving around the hinterland and the back streets of the Glasshouse Mountains, and drove past this spectacular property with row after row of Macadamia trees – actually, this property is a supplier for Golden Circle!! After knocking on the owner’s door and having a bit of a nosey around, it was decided 🙂 With a bit of help from the spectacular sunny weather, this gorgeous family raced around the property, played sword-fighting in the long grass, and had big tickly cuddles in the beautiful orchard.

My favourite part : When the little Superheroes came out at dusk 🙂

Updates : Boudoir sessions, Saturday bookings, & EOFY Price changes

Oh dear – I just realised TODAY that it’s nearly June, and we’re almost halfway through the year. !!! That’s not a problem, really. Just means I’ve got a really (really) busy rest of the year coming up. And a big 2nd birthday party to plan for my boy. And ohhh, I’m apparently turning 30 in a few months. And then there’s hubby’s birthday, lots of family birthdays, a wedding, a holiday, and Christmas thrown in there too. Oh dear.

So today I flicked through my diary to suss out what I have available – and I’m very happy to say I’m super busy, business is going awesomely, and I’m loving it all – and I’m also booking out relatively quickly. Like, 6-8 weeks in advance, for selected days.

What I’m saying is – if you’re after a SATURDAY portrait session, they’re as rare as hens teeth, so please, please contact me early if you absolutely must have a Saturday. Weekdays are 2-3 weeks in advance too, but slightly easier to fit in than Saturdays 🙂

ALSO….. End of Financial Year is coming up 🙂 (have you noticed the annoying EOFYS ads on TV yet?) And with the EOFY comes a pricing change. Prices across the board for some products are fairly stable (prints, canvas, mounts, etc), however my sitting fee, Images on CD, and portrait collections are going up to reflect changes in products, and the time and effort that goes into producing them. Enquiries from 1st July 2012 will receive the new pricing schedule, however if you enquire and pay your deposit before the end of June, your session will be charged at current rates.

So what else is new…. Ohhh, I’ve just spent the last 4-5 months or so planning my new adventure, a totally new avenue for me, of BOUDOIR photography! I’ve wanted to offer beautiful boudoir and lingerie sessions for my clients for a while, so I immediately scheduled my own Boudoir session (with the amazing Trudy from Studio Con Brio). Now I know what it feels like to be in front of the camera (and lets face it, a bit daunting parading around in your underwear!), and I LOVED IT. So after more research, and my first Boudoir photo session of the gorgeous Lucia, I organised models/hair/make-up/styling and spent the day at the beautiful Treasury Hotel in Brisbane, where we launched our new Boudoir sessions. We had three beautiful ladies model for us, our amazing Hair stylist Sue and assistant Cara from NV Hair & Body, and absolutely perfect make-up from Melissa, our Make-up Artist at Skin Tonic. It was super great to have our Stylist, my sister Hayley, along to coordinate outfits and complete the girl’s looks. Overall, it was a smashing success, and I can’t wait to show you more.

Soon you’ll notice a change in my website with a new Boudoir photography area, and a range of Boudoir packages to choose from. In the meantime…. A sneaky peek.

I’m really excited to promote these beautiful sessions. As you’ll see from our images, Boudoir photos aren’t raunchy, or dirty, or yuck. They’re classy, tasteful, sensual, and a beautiful portrayal of your body, in the most flattering poses and styles for YOU. You don’t have to wear lingerie either, you just wear what you feel AWESOME wearing – whether that’s a beautiful long evening gown, or a tight-fitting corset, or your most favourite pair of jeans and heels. The aim of having a Boudoir session is to celebrate your body, gain confidence, and love your curves. Sometimes it takes another person to see our beauty, and I know after you see your images, you’ll love what you see. That’s the reason 🙂

So yep, it’s a busy time of year. I just love that so many of my new clients are referrals from past clients, that makes me very happy that you’ve loved your experience so much, as to share it with your friends! And just so you know, any clients who REFER friends or family receive a Gift Voucher for $30 off their next purchase, after the session date. AND a new offer for my amazing clients…. I love to see you come back again, and photograph your family as you grow, so my returning clients enjoy a 5% discount on all products.

Thankyou again to my newest clients. I’ve loved meeting with you and photographing your families. I’m so excited to meet our NEWEST little clients who will all be arriving in the next few weeks, so keep an eye out for a lot of newborn squishiness on the blog.

If you’re a new client, I’d love to chat with you about your photography session, so please send me an email on claire@clairepinderphotography.com.au

Cheers, Claire x

Twilight Beach & Bush : A natural pregnancy session // Pregnancy photography, Brisbane

I was soooo excited (and a teeny bit nervous!) to photograph this beautiful lady’s pregnancy session last week! I’ve known Kylie for a few years, and she infact used to be my supervisor/Boss/oversee-er/person who trained me in photography! Back in the days (only a couple of years ago), we both worked together as Photographers and she trained me up (to be pretty awesome, hehe). It’s scary/fun/awesome to photograph another photographer, but I had a great time, mucking around in the water and trying not to get my jeans wet. (Not an easy feat, crouching over waves and clutching my camera at the same time).

Kylie is the Wedding/Portrait/Commercial Photographer behind Kylie Jane Photography, and let me tell you, she is the most caring, beautiful, and bubbly person to know. She had me in stitches, pulling silly faces and misbehaving during her portrait session! But what do you know, she also pulled out the goods, so here are her stunning pregnancy images. Kylie, you look amazing! Such a beautiful portrayal of pregnancy. I’m super duper looking forward to meeting your little man xoxo

Confident & Sexy : Natural light Boudoir // boudoir photography brisbane north

{a bit about boudoir…}

Boudoir sessions are all about confidence, having fun, and feeling great! It doesn’t matter what shape or size you are, just grab your favourite high heels and some lingerie or clothing that you feel FABULOUS in, and let’s book in your session. And if you’re worried about your blobby bits, or you don’t like your tummy, it’s great that you tell me, so we can pose you beautifully and show off the bits you just LOVE. Don’t worry if you’re not toned and sculpted. Boudoir sessions are the best thing to make you feel good about being YOU. Post-baby, young (18+) or mature, or an amazing present for your 40th (or any other age!). And yes, you can also have Boudoir photography as part of your Pregnancy session too.

Throughout your Boudoir session I’ll show you some images on my camera – for reassurance that you look amazing, that your poses are beautiful, and to remind you of why you chose me as your Photographer – for your beautiful images. I love nothing more than leaving a portrait session knowing that my client is EXCITED about their session! This beautiful client of mine was super-duper excited to see her images, and besides the fact that she looks AMAZING (!!), she also totally rocked the shoot. Here she is – Red heels, lingerie, and a stunning client….

A little sneaky peek of things to come….. // boudoir & lingerie photography brisbane north

And if you’d like to enquire about your own Boudoir session, I’ve got some great packages that will be available soon so send me an email, I’d love to chat with you further.

In the meantime, here’s the beautiful L.

Radiance & Beauty // studio & natural light outdoor pregnancy photography

I REALLY love pregnancy photography! I get so excited planning pregnancy sessions with my clients and discussing locations, and choosing materials & clothing to accentuate their gorgeous belly. Beautiful Mumma-to-be Amanda is the owner of Blonde Willow – a Personal Grooming service specialising in hair extensions, make-up and spray tanning. And wowzers, she is the picture of a radiant pregnancy!

Amanda loves black and white studio images, so we started at my home studio, and then went down the street for some outdoor location photos in the bush. The result was natural, beautiful and fun – except for the mozzies that came out at dusk!

All the best, Amanda & Steve. I can’t wait to hear of your little one’s arrival in a few weeks xx

Baby Rolls & Pouty Lips {newborn photography brisbane}

I first met Patrick’s Mum a few months ago when she rang to book in her Pregnancy portraits, and after chatting for a while we realised we live only a few houses away from each other! I was so looking forward to her little boy’s arrival, and we quickly booked in a day for newborn portraits at their gorgeous house. Beautiful little Patrick arrived on a sunny Wednesday in April, and I was so excited to meet him when he was only just 6 days old. So delightful, with little baby rolls and pouty lips, and happy to curl up in front of the heater and sleep for his photo session.

Congratulations Julia, your little boy is absolutely divine! xx

Oh So Perfect : 8 days old // Kallangur & Pine Rivers Newborn Photographer

Welcome to the world, gorgeous little Max.

This handsome little boy was so teeny-tiny-perfect at his first photo session. I was lucky enough to sneak in some baby cuddles while he drifted off to sleep, and then posed like a pro for the rest of his session, not even making a peep. His wonderful parents Kayleen & Brad pottered around while I hung out with little Max and oohed and aahed over his perfect-ness. Soooo cute, and just so relaxed! Mum and Dad enjoyed family cuddles with their new little boy, and then we popped him in bed so he could enjoy an afternoon nap. What an awesome little boy!

PS. You might remember mum Kayleen from her rainy outdoor pregnancy session – you can see it here!

Beautiful : Outdoor Rainy Pregnancy Session // Pine Rivers pregnancy & maternity photographer

I met beautiful Kayleen on a rainy Saturday in March. Actually, more of a “pouring, thunderstorms, and drenching rain” kind of day. We had originally planned a sunny afternoon at the beach… so we changed locations, and embraced the rain! We incorporated K’s very cute (and slightly uncomfortable during pregnancy!) boots, grabbed umbrellas, and went in seek of luscious bushland to complement the dreary afternoon. And ohhh, we found it 🙂

It was super duper hard work trying to keep these images off my website, as they were a surprise for K’s hubby, and I didn’t want to spoil the surprise!

Today I get to meet little baby M, at just 9 days old. Congratulations K & B, I can’t wait to meet your beautiful little man.
